Nakia O. Shy
Apostle Nakia O. Shy is a dynamic leader, author, and prophetic voice. She is the Founder and Director of Covenant Praise Ministries International, having impacted lives through the ministry of dance and prophetic teaching since 2006. Nakia has ministered across the United States and internationally in Haiti, South Africa, and Germany, carrying a message of worship, unity, and freedom. Her ministry journey includes leading and developing dance ministries within churches and military communities, as well as serving for five years as Dance Coordinator for the Worshipers on the Frontline Worship Summit. She is passionate about equipping the body of Christ— especially worship leaders, dancers, and ministers of movement—to operate in unity and to restore worship arts to their God-intended purpose. She is also the author of When Praise Meets Worship, a foundational resource for worship leaders and ministers. Apostle Nakia holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Wayland Baptist University and dual master’s degrees in biblical Exposition and Human Services with a specialization in Christian Ministries from Liberty University. She was ordained as an Elder in 2018 and affirmed as an Apostle in 2021.
Renee S. Gray
Apostle Dr. Renee S. Gray is an ordained Apostle under Chicago Embassy Church and holds a Doctorate from Newburgh Theological Seminary. She is passionate about mentoring, training, and empowering leaders to pursue their divine purpose and passion. Dr. Gray has traveled extensively, assisting others in launching and sustaining their ministries. Through global mission trips, she actively fulfills the Great Commission of Matthew 28—impacting lives and expanding the Kingdom of God. In 2016 and 2025, she founded Restored to Purpose Ministry and Restored 2 Purpose Foundation, organizations dedicated to cultivating godly character and advancing Kingdom principles. These initiatives also encourage partnerships with corporations to fund and further Kingdom advancement. A prolific writer, Dr. Gray continues to author books that equip and inspire leaders within the Body of Christ.
